ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 42 of THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
ITY OF JEFFERSON, 19562 PERTAINING TO THE TIME WHEN PARKING METERS
HALL BE IN OPERATION, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS
ECTION 42 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1956,
ERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
S FOLLOWS:
ection 1. Section 42 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, 1956, relating to the time when parking meters

ection 2. There is hereby enacted a new ordinance to be known as
ection 42 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson,
issouri, 1956, regulating the time when parking meters will
e in oeration, and said ordinance shall read as follows:
"Section 42. Parking meters to be operated when. Parking
meters shall be operated in the parking meter zones
every day between the hours of nine o' clock a.m. and
six o'clock p.m. , excepting Sundays and Holidays, and
on Fridays from nine o' clock a.m. until nine o' clock
p.m. ; provided that the term "Holidays" within the
meaning of this ordinance shall include the following
days only: The 1st day of January, the 12th day of
February, the 22nd day of- February, the 13th day of
April, the 30th day of May, the 4th day of July, the
first Monday in September, the 12th day of October,
the 11th day of November, any Thanksgiving day appointed
by the President of the United States or the Governor
of the State of Missouri, the 25th day of December, any
general primary election day and any general state
election day.
