HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD06712 now ORDINANCE NO. 6712 N ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 1377 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE,; CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELATING TO VACATION FOR MEMBERS OF THEI STREET DEPARTMENT, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT. I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUR , S FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 1377 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956, be and the same is hereby repealed. Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new ordinance relating to the vacations to be allowed to members of the Street Department and said new ordinance shall be known as Section 1377 of the Revised Ordinanc s of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and shall read as follows: "Section 1377. Vacations . All street employees of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, working under the Street Commissioner, shall receive two weeks of vacation with regular pay annually provided that said employee who has worked at least .twd years _ preceding said vacation period; provided that any street employee who has worked for a period of one year shall receive one week of vacation with regular pay at the end of said one year period. The time for the vacation periods of all employees working in the Street Department shall be determined by the Street Commissioner: Section 3. Ellis /s/ President of the Council Mayor i ORDINANCE NO. 6713 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE APPROPRIATION AND CONDEMNATION BY THE CITY OF SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FOR STREET RIGHT OF WAY PURPOSES, DECLARING IT NECESSARY TO TAKE AND APPROPRIATE SAID PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC USE SO THAT A PUBLIC STREET MAY BE ESTABLISHED AND CONSTRUCTED, DECLARING THAT NO BENEFIT DISTRICT SHALL BE ESTABLISHED, AND THAT ALL DAMAGES, IF ANY, RESULTING FROM SAID APPROPRIATION WILL BE PAID FROM FUNDS WITHIN THE CITY TREASURY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City of Jefferson, Missouri, does hereby authorize and direct the appropriation and condemnation by the City of certain specifically described land owned by William W. Searcy, Jr. and Searcy, his wife, or their unknown heirs, grantees, assigns, consorts and successors, for public street right of way purposes . Section 2. All right, title and interest of the said William W. Searcy, Jr, and Searcy, his wife, and their unknown heirs, grantees, -assigns, consorts and successors in an to the following described land is to be affected, appropriated and condemned: "All of that portion of the land designated on the j
