The Chairman of the Democratic City Committee ! and the Chairtimn )C the Republican City Committee shall. select such members of their own political parties as they deem fit to act as deputy city clerks for the purposes defined in Section two (2) above. They shall furnish a list of the names of the persons to be so selected to the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, by 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 1, 1959. Any person selected to be a deputy city clerk shall be a resident of the City of Jefferson, Missouri and entitled to vote at the election to be held on Tuesday, April 7, 1959 . Section 7. Ells /s/ City Clerk ORDINANCE NO. 6719 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUBI, TO ACCEPT A QUIT-CLAIM DEED EXECUTED IN FAVOR OF THE CITY WHEREIN A ADDITIONAL FIVE (5) FEET OF RIGHT OF WAY FOR STREET PURPOSE IS CONVEYED TO THE CITY ON THE WEST SIDE OF NOTRE DAME STREET. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby authorized and directed to accept for and on behalf of the City a quitclaim deed executed in favor of the City wherein an additional five (5) feet of street right of way is conveyed to the city along the present westerly right of way line of Notre Dame Street. Section 2. Said Quit-Claim deed shall be in words and figures in substantially the following form: QUIT-CLAIM DEED THIS INDENTURE, made on this day of March, 1959, by and between Price S. Thomas and Joyce M. Thomas, his wife, Elliott E. Farmer and Marjory Kirk Farmer, his wife, Lyman L. McDowell and Rita M. McDowell, his wife, Harold D. McDowell and Margaret Ann McDowell, his wife, Tony P. Robinett and Lena Robinett, his wife, Mabel Thompson' McCall, a single person., all of Cole County, Missouri and James H. Schulte and Mary L. Schulte, his wife, of Jackson County, Missouri, as the Parties of the First Part, and the City of Jefferson, Missouri, a municipal corporation of the third class, located within Cole County, Missouri, Party of the Second Part: WITNESSETH: That the said Parties of the First Part, in and for the consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar to them paid by the Party of the Second Part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents Remise, Release and Forever Quitclaim unto the Party of the Second Part as right of way for street purposes, the following described lots, tracts or parcels of land, lying, being and situate in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole and State of Missouri, to-wit: "The easterly five feet of Lots 20 through 51 inclusive and the easterly five feet of the street known as St. Paul Street, the right of r� way of said St. Paul Street having heretofore been vacated, as said lots appear of record in Wulfert' s 'Resubdivision of Outlot No. 101 of the City of Jefferson in Book 2 at Page S Cole County Recorder' s Office." TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME with all the rights, immunities privileges and apprutenances thereto belonging unto the said Party of the Second Part and its Successors so that neither the said fParties of the First Part, nor their heirs, nor any other person or persons for them or in their names of behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises, or in any part thereof, but they and every one of them shall, by these presents, be excluded and forever barred.
