ORDINANCE NO. 6721
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SUBPARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 88 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1.956, AND REENACTING
A NEW ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS SUBPARAGRAPH (e) OF SECTION 88
PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT, THAT IS, PERMISSIBLE TIME FOR
DOUBLE PARKING OF SERVICE CARS AND DELIVERY CARS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI,. AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subparagraph (e) of Section 88 of the Revised Ordinance
of the City of Jefferson, 1956, relating to the time when delivery
cars and service cars may be double parked without being in
violation of any parking ordinances, be and the same is hereby
repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new ordinance to be known as
Subparagraph (e) of Section 88 of the Revised Ordinances of the Cit
of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to the permissible times when
delivery cars and service cars -may double park, which ordinance
shall read as follows:
"Section 88. Delivery cars and service cars.
(e) In the event there is no parking space available at
or near the place where delivery is to be made or
service to be performed, any vehicle so registered
and marked shall be permitted to park, for necessary
delivery or service, for a period of time not to
exceed fifteen (15) minutes, as close to the right
hand side of the street as practicable, provided
however, that such method of parking, commonly
called "double parking" shall not be permitted within
the following periods: 7: 30 a.m. to 8: 30 a.m. ; 11: 45
a.m. to 1: 15 p.m. ; ' and 4: 30 p.m. to 5: 30 p.m.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 52 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELATING TO THE DOUBLE PARKING OF
OTOR VEHICLES AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE
SAME SUBJECT, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOLUI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 52 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, 1956, be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new ordinance to be known as
Section 52 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, 1956
relating to the double parking of motor vehicles, which ordinance
shall read as follows:
"Section 52. Double parking prohibited. It shall be
unlawful to stand or park a motor vehicle upon the streets alongsid
of another vehicle which is parked at the curb, and all vehicles
parked parallel to the curb shall be parked with the right front an
