Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to proceed at once
to make out special tax bills under the seal of the City of Jeffers n,
Missouri, of the aforesaid amounts against said lots or pieces of
land in the aforesaid Sewer District No. 97 "A" situated, mentioned
and described in the heretofore mentioned sections of this Ordinanc
in the name' of the owner or owners thereof, which said special and
certified tax bills shall be signed by the Mayor and attested and
recorded by the City Clerk and delivered to E. P. BARNETT, the
Contractor of the work of construction of the aforesaid sewers as
provided and required by the Charter of the City of Jefferson
and the Ordinances authorizing and ordering the construction of
sewers in said Sewer District No. 97 'W' , heretofore passed and
iapproved by the Council.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6735
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING SECTION
1002 OF ARTICLE X OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880 OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
MISSOURI, BY ADDING THERETO AN ADDITIONAL SUBPARAGRAPH TO BE
DESIGNATED AS SUBPARAGRAPH 22.5 WHICH SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:
22.5 PLUMBING SHOPS.
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
been petitioned to amend the Zoning Ordinance by allowing land
located within the "E" Local Commercial District to be used for the
business of plumbing shops, and
(Whereas the City Council has referred the matter to the Planning

and Zoning Commission for its study, consideration and recommendati n,
and
Whereas the Planning and Zoning commission has held a public hearin
on the propriety of amending Section 1002 of Article X of Ordinance
No. 5880, the Planning and Zoning Ordinance of the City, by adding
thereto a new subparagraph which would authorize the use of land
located within an "E" Local Commercial District to be used for
