Forrest Whaley /s/ 'President of the Council Mayor iORDINANCE NO. 6742 AN ORDINANCE i D PROHIBITING THE OPERATOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE FROM ,I OR PERMITTING THE SAME TO BE PARKED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STATE STREET BETWEEN TWO POINTS LOCATED SIXTEEN FEET WEST OF THE WEST CURB OF MADISON STREET AND THE EAST CURB LINE OF ADAMS STREET, EXCLUDING AN AREAS LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STATE STREET WHICH BEGINS AT A POINT LOCATED 26 FEET WEST OF THE WEST CURB OF MONROE STREET AND EXTENDING IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION FOR A DISTANCE OF 107 FEET TO A POINT WHICH IS LOCATED 29 FEET EAST OF THE EAST CURB OF MONROE STREET, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOU111 AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Hereafter it shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to permit the same to be parked on the north side of State Street between two points located sixteen (16) feet west of the west curb of Madison Street and the east curb of Adams Street, but excluding an area on the north side of State Street which begins at a point located twenty six (26) feet west of the west curb of Monroe Street and extends in an easterly direction for a distance of one hundred and seven (107) feet to a point which is located twenty nine (29) feet east of the east curb of Monroe Stree . Section 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and approval. Forrest Whaley Is President of the Council Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 6743 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE EAST SIDE AND ALONG THE EAST CURB OF WASHINGTON STREET BETWEEN ITS INTERSECTION WITH HIGH STREET AND THE DRIVEWAY ENTRANCE LEADING INTO THE REAR OF THE UNITED STATES POST OFFICE BUILDING, RESERVING THE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES IN SAID AREA TO PERSONS WITH BUSINESS IN THE UNITED STATES POST OFFICE, PRESCRIBING THE PERIOD OF TEN (10 MINUTES AS THE MAXIMUM TIME IN WHICH A MOTOR VEHICLE MAY BE PARKED IN SAID AREA, AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPER POSITION THAT ANY VEHICLE MAY BE PARKED WHILE AT REST IN SAID AREA, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Hereafter it shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to permit the same to be parked at the east curb of Washington Street between a point located twenty (20) feet south of the south curb of High Street and another point located ninety six (96) feet south of the south curb of High Street for a period of time in excess of ten (10) minutes when convenient for the purpose of picking up or depositing mail or transacting post office busines in the United States Post Office.
