Section 2. The operator of any motor vehicle using the area -T!
described above to transact post office business in parking said
vehicle at the east curb of Washington Street in the area
designated above shall park with the left side of said vehicle I
parallel and within one (1) foot of the east curb of Washington
Street with the vehicle headed in a southerly direction.
Section 3. Anyone violating any of the terms of this ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6744
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OPERATOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE FROM
PERMITTING THE SAME TO BE PARKED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STATE STREET
FOR A PERIOD OF TIME IN EXCESS OF THIRTY (30) MINUTES BETWEEN TWO
POINTS LOCATED 26 FEET WEST OF THE WEST CURB OF MONROE STREET AND
29 FEET EAST OF THE EAST CURB OF MONROE STREET, AND PROVIDING
FURTHER THAT SAID PARKING AREA MAY BE USED ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE
OF PARKING A MOTOR VEHICLE TO PICKUP OR DISCHARGE PASSENGERS, AND
THEIR BAGGAGE, WHO ARE ARRIVING AT OR DEPARTING FROM THE MISSOURI
PACIFIC RAILROAD DEPOT, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF
SAME.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereafter it shall be unlawful for the operator of a
motor vehicle to permit the same to be parked on the north side of
State Street for a period of time in excess of thirty (30) minutes
between two points located 26 feet west of the west curb of
Monroe Street and extending for a distance of one hundred and
seven (107) feet to the east to a point located twenty nine (29)
feet east of the east curb of Monroe Street; provided that, a
motor vehicle may be parked within the area described above for
the purpose of picking up or discharging passengers, and their
baggage, who are arriving at or departing from the Missouri Pacific
Railroad Depot, but motor vehicles may not be parked within the
above described area for any other purpose.

AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTIONS 78, 79 AND 80 OF THE REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, PERTAINING TO THE
PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES AT AND NEAR THE MISSOURI PACIFIC
RAILROAD STATION.
