ORDINANCE NO. 6749
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING, CHANGING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER
5880, WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND BY
REZONING SAID LAND FROM A DISTRICT "n" TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
TO A DISTRICT "E" LOCAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri has
received a petition requesting the rezoning of various tracts and
parcels of land from the present District "B" Two Family Dwelling
District to a District "E" Local Commercial District, and
WHEREAS, the Council has referred said petition to the Planning
and Zoning Commission for its study, consideration and recommendati n,
and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has received the petiti n,
given notice of and held a public hearing thereon, studied and
considered the petition and made its recommendation to the City
Council, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommendsto the City
Council that the area described hereinafter be rezoned from a Distr ct
"B" Two Family Dwelling District to a District "E" Local Commercial
District, and
WHEREAS, all interested parties have been notified by a newspaper
advertisement published in a newspaper of general circulation with
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that a hearing would be held by
the City Council of said city on the issue of approving or rejects
