Whereas, the City Council has conducted such hearing and given all
interested parties an opportunity to be heard upon the issue, now
therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOULIq
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1701 of Ordinance Number 5880 of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto a new subparagraph to be known as subparagraph twenty (20)
which shall state as follows:
20 . Poultry Processing and/or distributing plants
but only in the "F" Highway Commercial District.
Section 2. The intention of this ordinance is to permit land
located within the "F" Highway Commercial District to be used for
the operation of a poultry processing and/or distributing plant
upon issuance of a special permit by the City Council under the
provisions of Section 1701 of Ordinance Number 5880 .
Section 3. In all other respects Section 1701 of Ordinance
Number 5880, as previously amended, shall remain in force and effec .
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6751
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF CITY TAXES AND ESTABLISHING
THE RATE OF TAXATION FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI FOR THE YE ,
1959.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed the following rate on
all real estate and personal property within the limits of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, not exempt from taxation by the constitutio
or the laws of the State of Missouri, as shown by the assessment
book of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the year 1959, and on
all Merchants and Manufacturers statements, made as provided by law
FIRST - For the purpose of paying all current expenses of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the fiscal year, the sum of
.83 cents on the one hundred dollar valuation.
SECOND - For the purpose of paying interest on the outstanding
bonds of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and for the purpose of
creating a sinking fund to retire the outstanding bonds of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, the sum of .45 cents on the one
hundred dollar valuation.
THIRD - For the purpose of establishing and maintaining a
Free Public Library in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the sum of
