SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall City Council formed a Housing Advisory Committee in 2020 to review current issues regarding local housing for full-time residents and possible solutions for increasing the
amount of local housing available in McCall.
The open position was advertised in the Star News. According to the Bylaws, the Committee shall consist of five (5) voting members appointed by the City Council for three (3) year terms.
Each member may serve no more than 2 consecutive terms. Committee members are not required to be residents of the City of McCall. Representation from housing and construction related
professionals such as real estate, land use law, building and construction, architecture, finance, and other related fields, is preferred. An ad ran for two weeks in the Star-News.
No additional letters of interest were received
Toni Curtis was the Member appointed to a 1-year term and wishes to be re-appointed. (Two Members were appointed to a 2-year term; and Two Members were appointed to a 3-year term.) All
subsequent terms will be for a full 3 years.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Toni Curtis to a 3-year term on the Housing Advisory Committee and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
