Airport      Library    TIMELINE: Immediately Information Systems      Grant Coordinator    SUMMARY STATEMENT: The City of McCall owns and maintains an existing 6-inch water main across Idaho Department of Lands property (east of Miles Standish Road). This water main was constructed as part of infrastructure requirements for the Shady Beach Subdivision Development in the early 1980’s. The water main allows the City to provide potable water for the subdivision (outside City limits). However, it was recently discovered that the appropriate utility easement across IDL property was never secured by Shady Beach, as originally required by McCall Public Works. To resolve this, PW staff has worked, in coordination with IDL, to establish the appropriate easement for this water infrastructure. The attached IDL Easement #ES500068, once approved by City Council and recorded with Valley County by IDL will provide the City with legal ingress and egress for maintenance, repair, and replacement, as needed. Legal counsel has approved the proposed easement language.  RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve IDL Easement #ES500068 between the City of McCall and the State of Idaho and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
