ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK
F THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI TO ACCEPT A WARRANTY DEED EXECUTE

SSUE A WARRANT IN FAVOR OF CHARLES E. KIESELBACH AND EMMA L.
IESELBACH IN THE AMOUNT OF $750.00 AS CONSIDERATION AND PAYMENT FOR
AID LAND.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURE,,
FOLLOWS:
ection 1. The Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby
uthorized and directed to accept for and on behalf of said city a
arranty deed executed by Charles E. Kieselbach and Emma L.
eselbach, his wife, by which deed a strip of land of a width of
fifteen (15) feet is conveyed to the City.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
raw a warrant against monies of the new streets and street
idening fund in the City Treasury in the amount of Seven Hundred

L. Kieselbach.

ORDINANCE LEVYING AND .ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX AGAINST EACH LOT 0
IECE OF GROUND LYING BETWEEN AND SITUATE WITHIN THE BOUNDS OF SEWS
ISTRICT NO. 91 "V' IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, IN THE NAME
F THE OWNER OR OWNERS THEREOF FOR CONSTRUCTING AND COMPLETING
EWERS THEREIN.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, A
FOLLOWS:
ECTION 1. It appearing from the written report of the City

sewers, in Sewer District No. 91 "D", in the Cit of g

Missouri, heretofore submitted by said officer to the City Council
and approved and filed by it on this 3rd day of August, 19599 at a t
regular meeting of the City Council held on this date, that the
total cost of construction and completing of said sewer as constructed,
amounts to the sum of $1,785. 10, and it further appearing that saidll
report of said officer did apportion said costs against the several �i
lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 91
exclusive of streets in proportion to the area of the whole of said';
District No. 91 "D" exclusive of the public highways, and it further
appearing that the total number of square feet contained in the
aggregate number of lots and pieces of ground situated in the said i
Sewer District No. 91 "D" , exclusive of the public highways therein
amounts to 101, 104.87 square feet. And it further appearing from
the said report that on proper apportionment of said costs such
lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 91 "D" , so
situated, each square foot of ground contained in said lots or piec s
of ground in said Sewer District No. 91 "D" is chargeable with the
sum of $0 .0176559 per square foot.
Now, therefore, for the purpose of paying for the work of
construction and completion of sewers in said Sewer District No.
91 "D" together with all necessary laterals, inlets, catch basins,
manholes, and other necessary appurtenances thereto appertaining,
there is hereby levied and assessed against the several and
hereinafter described lots or pieces of ground within the bounds of
said Sewer District No. 91 "D" , situated in the name of the
respective -name of the owner or owners of said lots or pieces of
ground, a special tax at the rate of $0 .0176559 per square foot
for each and every square foot of ground so situated as aforesaid.
SECTION 2. Each of the lots or pieces of ground so mentioned and
referred to in Section 1 of this Ordinance, against which a
special tax bill is specified in Section 1 of this ordinance is
levied and assessed and the same is hereby levied and assessed and
the description of said lots or pieces of ground and the name of
the owner or owners thereof in which the tax is levied and assessed
and the cost per square foot and the amount assessed each lot or
piece of ground in said Sewer District No. 91 "D" situated in the
name of the owner or owners thereof, the number of square feet owned
by each property holder in the lots or pieces of ground owned by
each owner in said Sewer District No. 91 "D" is as follows:
Edwin E. And Alma Goldammer, and Tommy E. and Rose Mary Goldammer,
owners of Lots 1,2,3,4,26,27,28,29 in Roseland Subdivision.
Assessment 101, 104.87 sq.ft. @ $0 .0176559 Cost $1, 785. 10
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to proceed at once
to make out special tax bills under the seal of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, of the aforesaid amounts against said lots or
pieces of land in the aforesaid Sewer District No. 91 "D" situated, ]
mentioned and described in the heretofore mentioned sections of
this ordinance in the name of the owner or owners thereof, which
said special and certified tax bills shall be signed by the Mayor
and attested and recorded by the City Clerk and delivered to
E. P. Barnett, the Contractor of the work of construction of the
aforesaid sewers as provided and required by the Charter of the
City of Jefferson and the Ordinances authorizing and ordering the
construction of sewers in said Sewer District No. 91 "D" , heretofor
passed and approved by the Council.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
