SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Imagine Idaho Foundation is offering capacity building support and financial grants to Idaho broadband projects that need a boost to get their effort underway. Idaho public entities,
non-profits and co-ops can submit applications to become a “Partner Project” which would receive support to fulfill their broadband infrastructure plan. Partner Projects will be provided
with assistance including introductions to Imagine Idaho’s network of government, legal, technical, engineering, planning, grant writing and other services coupled with possible financial
support to alleviate a project expense that will help complete the execution of their broadband plan.
The City of McCall would like to apply for a grant up to $10,000 to support technical engineering related to implementation of the City’s RAPID Broadband project. There is no local match
requirement for the grant program.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve submittal of an Imagine Idaho Foundation grant application to support technical engineering for RAPID and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
