• BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS,
TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. An election shall be held to elect one Tlayor and two
Councilmembers for two year terms and one Councilmember
for a one year unexpired term. Such election shall be
held at the City Hall, 3200 Diana Drive, Richland Hills,
Texas from 7:00 o'clock a.m, until 7:00 o'clock p.m, on
the 5th day of April, 1986.
SECTION 2. Eligible persons wishing to become candidates must file
application with the r-Zayor or City Secretary of the City
of Richland Hills, Texas on or before the 19th day of
February, 1986 until 5:00 p.m.
SECTION 3. Absentee voting shall commence in the office of the City
Secretary on the 17th day of March, at 8:00 a.m, and shall
close on the 1st day of April, 1986 at 5:00 p.m.
SECTION 4. The following persons shall be the Officers who shall con-
duct the election:
RUSS MILLER Election Judge
FRED SCHRODER Assistant Judge
• and such other clerks as may be annoa_nted by the Election
Judge, Said persons shall also serve as the Absentee Ballot
Board.
SECTION 5. The election shall be conducted according to the laws of
the State of Texas.
SECTION 6. The one person for Mayor and two persons for Councilmembers
receiving the highest number of votes, shall be deemed to
have been elected as Mayor and City Councilmembers for two
year terms and the person receiving the third highest number
of votes for Councilmember shall be deemed to have been
elected to the one year unexpired term.
