SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the des-
cription of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on eac
side of Winston Street from the west curb line of Rosewood Drive to
the center of Gold Street and the number of front feet owned by
each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land
so owned and abutting said block or street betweenthe aforesaid
streets and the cost price per front foot for said improvement
and the amount hereby levied and assessed as a special tax for
said improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or
abutting said Winston Street or the roadway from the west curb line
of Rosewood Drive to the center of Gold Street.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is- hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the contractor Roy A. Scheperle
Construction Company for the within mentioned work in accordance
with the ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to
said kind of work and in accordance with the Charter of said City i
regard to said work.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6766
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE
LOTS OR TRACKS OF LAND FRONTING OR ABUTTING ON THE ROADWAY OF THE
ALLEY IN THE BLOCK BETWEEN BECK STREET, HILDA STREET AND
U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 50 & WILLIAM STREET IN THE. CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE SAID ROADWAY BY GRADING AND
PAVING WITH CRUSHED STONE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cos
price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this ordinance,
against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting
on the roadway of the alley in the block between Beek Street, Hilda
Street and U.S. Highway No. 50 & William Street in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of the roadway' the alley
aforesaid, the sum of $325.00 as the total costs of the improvement
of' said street and the number of front feet fronting or abutting sa d
roadway of said alley aforesaid, between the aforesaid streets
amount to 518 .42, running feet; the cost price per running foot is
$0.6269048.
SECTION 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said
roadway of the alley in the block between Beck Street, Hilda Street
and U.S. Highway 50 and William Street there is hereby levied and
assessed the sum of $0.6269048 as a special tax against each front
foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway of the alley
between the aforesaid streets, and contained in such lot or piece
of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway of said alley
in the block between Beck Street, Hilda Street and U.S. Highway
No. 50 & William Street.
