AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY CHANGING PARKING REGULATIONS
RELATIVE TO PRIMROSE STREET BETWEEN LAS TUNAS
DRIVE AND WOODRUFF AVE., TEMPLE CITY, CALI-
FORNIA ON FEBRUARY 24, 1961 BETWEEN THE HOURS
OF 4:00 P. M. AND 6 :30 P. M. ONLY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Nothing in the Temple City Municipal Code
withstanding, the City Manager of the City of Temple City is
hereby authorized and directed to limit the duration of parking
to twenty minutes on Primrose Street between Las Tunas Drive and
Woodruff Ave., Temple City, California on February 24, 1961,
between the hours of 4 :00 p. m. and 6:30 p. m. only, by the
placing of barricades in the center of Primrose Street at the
intersections of Las Tunas Drive and Woodruff Avenue and by
posting signs upon said barricades reading as follows:
"Parking this block limited to 20 minutes, Febru-
ary 24, 1961, 4 :00 p. m. to 6:30 p. m."
SECTION 2. Any person who shall be convicted of a vio-
lation of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and shall be punished by a fine of $1.00
SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety and is being enacted to take effect immediately in ac-
cordance with section 36937 of the Government Code of Califor-
nia. The City Council of the City of Temple City expressly
finds that the Camellia Festival is of great value to the people
of Temple City.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Temple City at a regular meeting thereof held this 14th day of
February, 1961, by the following called vote:
AYES: Councilmen Buchan, Dickason, Merritt,
Tyrell & Fitzjohn
NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen None
