abutting on and adjacent to said portion of Wiggins Street above
described having petitioned the City Council to vacate and
discontinue the above described portion of Wiggins Street as a
part of the public thoroughfare of said city, the above described
portion of Wiggins Street is forever vacated and discontinued as a
public thoroughfare.
Section 3. The right of reversion in said street right of way to
the adjacent and abutting property owners, as is now provided by
the Statutes of the State of Missouri, is hereby fully confirmed an
approved, and the Mayor of the City is hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver all proper and sufficient writings
for, on behalf of and in the name of the City of Jefferson, to full
and completely establish and guarantee to the adjacent and abutting
property owners their legal rights in connection with the above
vacation.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6770
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OPERATOR OF ANY MOTOR VEHICLE WITH
A GROSS WEIGHT WHEN LOADED OF 18,000 POUNDS OR OVER FROM OPERATING
THE SAME ON STADIUM DRIVE AND SOUTHWEST BOULEVARD WITHIN THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING A PERMIT FROM THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT OF SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING AN PENALTY FOR
VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereafter it shall be unlawful for the operator of
any motor vehicle with a gross weight when loaded of 18,000 or more
to operate the same on Stadium Drive or Southwest Boulevard within
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, without first obtaining a permit:
from the Police Department of the City authorizing such operation. .
Section 2. Said permit shall be issued by the Police Department
of the City of Jefferson under such terms and conditions as may
be deemed necessary.
Section 3. This ordinance, if violated, shall render the violator
guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
