AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 6493 PERTAINING TO THE
STABLISHMENT AND LOCATION OF PARKING METER ZONES, AND ENACTING A
W ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
S FOLLOWS:
ection 1. Ordinance Number 6493 of the City of Jefferson, Missour
ertaining to the establishment and location of parking meter zones,
e and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. Parking Meter Zones. The following named streets, portionfi
f streets and specifically described areas off of streets or alleys
thin the boundaries so designated, lying within the corporate
limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, shall constitute parking
meter zones:
(a) Adams Street - on the east side of Adams Street
beginning at the south curb of Capitol Avenue and
extending south along Adams Street to the alley
which lies between and parallel to Capitol Avenue
and High Street. (old)
(b) Capitol Avenue - both sides from Madison Street to
Monroe Street. (old)
(c) High Street - on the north side between Washington
and Adams Street. (old)
on the south side between a point 200
feet east of Washington and Adams Street. (old)
(d) Jefferson Street - both sides from McCarty Street to
the alley lying between High Street & Capitol Avenue.
On the east side between two
points located 62 and 151 feet south of the south
curb of Capitol Avenue. (old)
(e) Madison Street - both sides between McCarty Street
and Capitol Avenue. (old)
(f) McCarty Street - both sides between Jefferson Street
and Madison Street. (old)
(g) Monroe Street - both sides between McCarty Street
and Capitol Avenue. (old).
(h) Inlot 484 - the southerly twenty (20) feet of Inlot
484 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, extending
a distance of 104 feet east of the east curb line
of Monroe Street (new) .
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
fter its passage and approval.
