The Assistant City Engineer shall have attained the age of twenty one years, be physically able and sound of body, and be a registered professional engineer meeting the requirements of Section 327 .032 R.S. Mo. Section 4. Duties. The Assistant City Engineer shall perform such duties as shall be specified by the City Engineer; provided th in the absence or inability of the City Engineer to perform his duties, the Assistant City Engineer shall perform such duties as may be delegated to the City Engineer by existing ordinances, the Mayor and the City Council. Section 5. Salary. Upon the appointment and confirmation of the Assistant City Engineer, his salary shall be established by ordinance. Section 6. Effective Date.
