AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND
DISCONTINUING AS A PART OF A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE A PART OF ROSEWOOD
DRIVE AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY INSTRUMENTS TO THE OWNERS OF THE ADJACENT LOT
TO AND FOR THAT PORTION OF ROSEWOOD DRIVE SO VACATED, AS THE PARTIE
BEING ENTITLED THERETO, AS SHOWN BY THE RECORD TITLE TO SAID ADJACENT
AND ABUTTING PROPERTY, AND DECLARING A REVERTER TO THE OWNERS OF TH
ABUTTING REAL ESTATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUIL
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the City of Jefferson, Misso ri
deems it necessary and expedient to vacate and discontinue that
portion of Rosewood Drive more particularly described as:
"Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 21 of
Roseland Addition as shown in plat of record in Plat
Book 5 at Page 101, Cole County Recorder' s Office, thence
southwesterly on a curve having a radius of 325.0
feet to the southerly line of Lot 21 of Roseland
Addition, as shown per plat of record in Plat
Book 5 at Page 15, Cole County Recorder' s Office;
thence along the southerly line of Lot 21 of Roseland
Addition to the southeast corner of Lot 21 of
Roseland Addition, being the point of beginning.
All of said property being located within the
City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri."
Section 2. All of the owners of the property and adjacent lots
abutting on and adjacent to said portion of Rosewood Drive above
described having petitioned the City Council to vacate and
discontinue that portion of Rosewood Drive above described as a
part of the public thoroughfare of said city, the above described
portion of Rosewood Drive is forever vacated and discontinued, as
a public thoroughfare.
Section 3. The right of reversion in said street right of way to t e
adjacent and abutting property owners, as is now provided by the
statutes of the State of Missouri, is hereby fully confirmed and
approved, and the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson
Missouri, are hereby authorized and directed to execute all proper
and sufficient writings on behalf of and in the name of the City of
Jefferson, to fully and completely establish and guarantee the
adjacent and abutting property owners their legal rights in
connection with the above vacation.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.

CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER '
5880 WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND BY
REZONING SAID LAND FROM A DISTRICT "B" TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
