AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ROADWAY OF
ROSEWOOD DRIVE FROM THE CENTER OF THE INTERSECTION OF ROSEWOOD DRIV
AND THE NORTH CURB LINE OF WINSTON STREET TO THE CENTER OF THE
INTERSECTION OF ROSEWOOD DRIVE AND CARROLL STREET IN THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY PAVING WITH PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Whereas, it was heretofore found and declared by the
City Council, by its resolution, passed and approved on August 179
1959 necessary to pave with portland cement concrete the roadway
of Rosewood Drive from the center of the intersection of Rosewood
Drive and the north curb line of Winston Street to the center of thl
intersection of Rosewood Drive and Carroll Street and it appearing
to the City Council that said resolution has been duly published
according to the law for more than seven (7) consecutive insertions ,
in the Post-Tribune, a daily newspaper, printed and published in th
City of Jefferson, Missouri, and a majority of the resident owners f
property along said section of Rosewood Drive liable for the costs +
of said improvement, and who own a majority of the front feet on
said Rosewood Drive intended to be improved, have not filed with th '
City Clerk a protest against said contemplated improvement.
SECTION 2. That the said road of Rosewood Drive from the center of
the intersection of Rosewood Drive and the north curb line of
Winston Street, to the center of the intersection of Winston Street
and Carroll Street in accordance with the plans and specifications
submitted by the City Engineer and filed in the office of the City
Clerk, and that the total cost of the work aforesaid shall be
charged and levied as a special assessment against the real estate
abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement, and special
tax bills shall be issued therefor, as provided in the City Charter,
and in Sections 826, 827, 828, 829 and 767 of Chapter 10 of the
Revised Ordinannces of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956, and
of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri, 1949, and
amendments thereto.
(SECTION 3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to advertise for
bads for this improvement.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6787
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SEWER DISTRICT NO. 57 "A" , WITHIN THE CITI
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AND DEFINING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missour ,
hereby declares and ordaines that it deems it necessary for sanitar
purposes and for the health and comfort of its inhabitants of the
City to establish a Sewer District to be known as Sewer District
No. 57"A" , and said sewer district to be established with location
and boundaries as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner. of
Lot 3, Block 26, Renn Addition, thence along and with the southerly
line of Lots 3,2,1, Block 26 to the most easterly corner of I.ot 1,
