ORDINANCE NO. 6798
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ESTABLISHING THE
GRADE ON ALLEN AVENUE, FROM THE NORTH CURB LINE OF HAYZELTON DRIVE,
NORTHWESTERLY TO THE EXISTING CONCRETE PAVEMENT OF ALLEN-COLE DRIVE
T STATION 14 � 74.24.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUFIS
S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the grade line of the roadway of Allen Avenue,
extending from the north curb line of Hayzelton Drive, northwester)
to the existing concrete pavement of Allen-Cole Drive at station
14 � 74.24, be and hereby is established as follows:
Beginning at the
orth curb line of Hayzelton Drive where the elevation is 156.60$
thence 15 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation shall be 157.01-
thence 15 feet on a vertical curve where the elevation shall be
158 .25; thence 25 feet on a uniform grade where the elevation shall

SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
this ordinance are hereby repealed.

ORDINANCE NO. 6799
ORDINANCE CHANGING, AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER
5880 WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND BY REZONING
SAID LAND FROM A DISTRICT "B" TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT, A DISTR CT
"C" MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT AND A DISTRICT "G" COMMERCIAL DISTRI T
TO A DISTRICT "E" LOCAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri ha
lbeen petitioned in writing to rezone the following descrived tract
of land from a District "B" Two Family Dwelling District to a District
"E" Local Commercial District: -
"All of Outlot No. 6 of the City of Jefferson,
excluding Lots 1 through 7 of Hutchinson' s
Subdivision of Outlot No. 6 as per plat of
record in Plat Book 1 at Page 33, Cole County
Recorder's Office and all of Outlot No-7 of
the City of Jefferson, excluding the southerly
350 .0 feet thereof."
Whereas, the City Council referred said petition to its Plannin
and Zoning Commission as provided by law for its study, consideration
nd recommendation, and
Whereas, that Commission, after publication of notice of a
Baring and holding a hearing on said petition, did study and
onsider sAid petition and the evidence adduced at said hearing, and
thereafter did make its written recommendation to the City Council th t
the area of land described in the petition be altered and enlarged,
and that said area, as altered and enlarged and hereinafter describe
in Section 1 of this ordinance, be.-rezoned, and
Whereas, all interested parties have been notified that the
City Council would hold a public hearing at 8:00 p.m. on the evening
Of September 21, 1959 within the Council Chamber of the City Hall
Building at which time they might appear and be heard in support of
or in opposition to the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
Commission, and any ordinance that might be introduced relating
thereto, and
Whereas, said notice of hearing was published in the Jefferson
City Post Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation within said
ity, for three consecutive days, with the last date of publication

Whereas, the City Council has conducted said hearing and all
interested parties have been given an opportunity to be heard, now
therefore:
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUR ,
S FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Zoning Map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as
incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880 of said city, is hereby
ended, modified and changed to reflect the rezoning of the follow-
ing described tract of land from its present District 'B", District
'C" and District "G" Classification to a District "E" Local
Commercial Classification:
"All of Outlot No. 6 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
including Lots 1 through 7 of Huthhinson's Subdivision
of the City of Jefferson, as shown per plat of record
in Plat Book 1 at Page 33, Cole County Recorder's Office,
and all of Outlot No. 7 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
excluding the southerly 350 feet thereof."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
