RELEASE OF LIABILITY.
ARTICLE LVIII: No person, firm or corporation other than
the signer of this Contract as Contractor, now has any interest hex•
under, and no claim shall be made or be valid, and neither the Cityl
nor any employee or agent thereof, shall be liable or be held to pa
any money, except as herein provided. The acceptance by the Contra t-
on of the last payment shall operate as, and shall be, a release to
the city and every officer and agent thereof, from all claims and
liability to the Contractor for anything done or furnished for, or
relating to the work, or for any act or neglect of the City, or df
any person relating to or affecting the work.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
caused these presents to be executed in its behalf by its Mayor and
City Clerk thereunto duly authorized, and the said Party of the
Second Part has hereunto set hishan.d and seal on this 30th day of
September, 1959
