ECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for and
n behalf of said City, is hereby authorized and directed to accept
ertain warranty deeds executed on September 30, 1959, by R. W. Bonn t
nd Mary Louise Bonnot, his wife, Paul Healey and Evelyn Healey,
is wife, and Roland W. May and Hortense May, his wife, each of said
hree deeds conveying certain specifically described land in Block
of St. Louis Heights, a subdivision of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as per plat of record in Plat Book 3 at Page 10, Office
f Recorder of Deeds, Cole County, Missouri.
ECTION 2. The City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to record

ECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and

kN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND
ISCONTINUING AS A PART OF A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE A PORTION OF A
LVE (12) FOOT ALLEY LYING BETWEEN AND RUNNING PARALLEL WITH
HIGH STREET AND E. McCARTY STREET AND CONNECTING WITH CHURCH
TREET AND VETTER' S LANE, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI TO EXECUTE AL
CESSARY INSTRUMENTS TO THE OWNER OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY TO
ONFIRM AND APPROVE THE REVERSIONARY RIGHTS OF SAID ABUTTING PROPERTC
WNERS IN AND TO THE LAND HEREIN VACATED.

Whereas, it has been shown to the City Council of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, that the owners of the land hereinafter
specifically described have used, improved and occupied and are now
sing and occupying the land hereinafter to be described, and
Whereas, said land hereinafter described has ceased to be of
any use or benefit as a part of a public thoroughfare to the citizen
f the City of Jefferson, and
Whereas, it would not inconvenience the public or the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, to discontinue and vacate as a portion of a
ublic thoroughfare the land hereinafter described, now there66re:
ECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the City Council of the City
f Jefferson, Missouri, deems it necessary and expedient to vacate
Fnd discontinue as a public thoroughfare the following described
