subject to the provisions of Section 43 of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956.
Section 43. Thirty Minute Meters: The following
parking meter spaces shall be used only for thirty
(30) minute parking, and the parking meter opposite
said spaces shall be thirty minute meters. Parking or
standing a vehicle in a thirty minute parking meter
zone shall be lawful upon deposit of one five cent
coin of the United States of America:
(a) All parking meter spaces located on either
side of Madison Street between High Street
and the alley lying between High Street
and Capital Avenue, subject to the terms
of Ordinance No. 5701.
(b) The eight parking meter spaces located on
the east side of Jefferson Street between
Capitol Avenue and Commercial Avenue.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE DECLARING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON, FIRM OR
ORPORATION WITHIN THIS CITY TO PERMIT AN UNUSED ICE BOX OR
FRIGERATOR TO REMAIN ON THEIR PROPERTY UNLESS THE LOCKING APPARA

E LOCKED IN A CLOSED POSITION, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATI
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUR ,
S FOLLOWS:
ECTION 1. It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation withia
his city to permit any currently unused ice box or refrigerator . to
emain on their property or on any property within this city unless
he door locking apparatus of said ice box or refrigerator has been
emoved so that the door cannot be locked in a closed or shut posit n.
ECTION 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this ordinance shalL
e deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
ECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
