Ordinance Number 6547 relating to the establishment of School Bus Loading and Unloading Zone for the Thorpe Gordon School n the east side of Jackson Street and extending for a distance of inety (90) feet south of the south curb line of Woodlawn Street be, nd the same is hereby, repealed. Ells Isl City Clerk RDINANCE NO. 6826 ORDINANCE PROHIBITING ANY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION FROM PLACj R PERMITTING TO BE SITUATED, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ANY GOODS, W S R MERCHANDISE OF ANY KIND FOR PURPOSES OF SALE OR ADVERTISING ON TREETS, PARKING OR SIDEWALKS WITHIN THIS CITY, AND PROVIDING A PETY OR VIOLATION THEREOF. E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUR , S FOLLOWS: ECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation hrough any officer of employee thereof to place or stand for sale r advertising purposes any goods, wares or merchandise of any kind, irectly or indirectly, upon the surface of: (a) the improved ortion of any street, alley or roadway within this city (b) within he area commonly known as "parking" which lies between the 'curb of ny street and the edge of the sidewalk lying closest to the curb i ithin this city$ and (c) upon any public sidewalk within this city, rovided that one fourth (k) of the width of said sidewalk or two eet of the width of said sidewalk, whichever is less, lying nearest to he abutting property, may be used by the abutting property owner or the display of goods, wares and merchandise. ECTION 2. Anyone violating the terms of this ordinance shall be eemed guilty of a misdemeanor. 6ECTION 3.
