HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD06831 ORDINANCE NO. 6830 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 1959. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of any money in the City Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the following: REVENUE FUND For the purpose of paying the salaries of elective and appointive officers, the sum of-----------------$20,600.00 For the purpose of paying City Engineer, for use of car, the sum of-------------------------------------$--------- For the purpose of paying City Marshal, for use of car, the sum of-------------------------------------$--------- Advance Collectors commissions------------------------$ 500.00 Advance Assessors commissions-------------------------$ 200.00 VEHICLE FUND For the purpose of paying weekly wages of laborers, freight and incidentals under the Street Commissioner, the sum of----------------------------$ 6,000.00 TRAFFIC AND VEHICLE FUND For the purpose of paying the salary of Street Commissioner and Traffic Officers, the sum of-------$ 6,570.00 For the purpose of paying weekly wages of laboreres, freight and incidentals under the Street Commissioner, the sum of----------------------------$ 6,000.00 SECTION 2. (City Treasure ) ORDINANCE N0. 6831 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING ORDINANC NO. 6807, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE GRADE OF THE ROADWAY OF TAYLOR STREET, FROM A POINT THAT IS 33 FEET NORTHERLY OF THE CENTERLINE OF WATER STREET, SOUTHERLY TO THE APPROXIMATE CENTERLINE OF KAREN DRIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOU1119 AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the grade of Taylor Street frem a p6iht that is 33 feet northerly of the centerline of Water Street, southerly to the approximate centerline of Karen Drive be and hereby is established as follows: Beginning at a point on the centerline of Taylor Street that is 33 feet northerly of the centerline of Water Street where the elevation of the grade is 173.40 feet; thence on a vertical curve 100 feet where the grade shall be 175.20 feet; thence on a uniform grade 426 feet, where the grade shall be 227.50 feet; thencD on a vertical curve 100 feet to the approximate centerline of Karen Drive where the grade shal be 232.90 feet.
