SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6837
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING LOT 7 of BLOCK 20 of RENN ADDITION IN THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS APPEARS PER PLAT OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK
AT PAGE , COLE COUNTY RECORDER' S OFFICE, AS A RIGHT OF WAY
FOR A PUBLIC ,THOROUGHFARE WITHIN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI:
SECTION 1. Lot No. 7 of Block No. 20 of Renn Addition in the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, as same appears of record in plat book number
at page , Cole County Record' s Office, be and it is
hereby established as a right of -way for a public thoroughfare within
the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 2. Inasmuch as the City of Jefferson owns the record title
in fee simple to Lot No. 7 of Block No. 20 of Renn Addition, having
purchased the same outright prior hereto, it is declared the intent on
of the City of Jefferson to permit the use of said land as a public
thoroughfare at the will of the City, and in the event the City, at
some future time, should enact an ordinance declaring that it is
no longer necessary to use said land as a public thoroughfare, said
Lot No. 7 of Block 20 of Renn Addition shall remain-the property of
the City and not revert to an# adjacent property owners.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval:
