feet 7 inches East of the Westerly line of said
Inlot No. 817; said point of ending being also 72
feet Northwardly from the Southerly line of said
Inlot No. 817.
The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver to Marie
Busch and Paul Busch, of Jefferson City, Missouri, adeed conveying
to the said Marie Busch and Paul Busch the following described
property located in Jefferson City, Missouri, to-wit:
Part of Inlot No. 817 to-wit: That part of said
lot commencing at the Northwest corner of said
lot and running 15 feet toward the northeast corner,
thence 125 feet toward the southwest corner, thence
15 feet in northwestern direction, thence 125 feet
to the place of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from
and after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6850
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 660 AND SUBPARAGRAPH (A) OF SECTION
663 OF THE. REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1956,
DEFINING A CANVASSER OR SOLICITOR, AND PRESCRIBING THE FEE FOR
ISSUANCE OF A LICENSE THERETO, AND ENACTING TWO NEW SECTIONS TO BE
KNOWN AS SECTION 660 AND SUBPARAGRAPH (A) OF SECTION 663 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1956, RELATING TO THE
SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUEI,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 660 and subparagraph (a) of Section 663 of the
Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, 1956, defining a
canvasser or solicitor, and prescribing the fee for issuance of a
license thereto, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. There is hereby enacted a new section to be 'known as
Sec&jQa..fi60 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, 195f ,
defining the words "canvasser or solicitor" , which shall read as
follows:
"Section 660. Definition. (a) A canvasser or solicitor
is defined as any individual, whether resident of the
City of Jefferson or not, traveling either by foot,
wagon, automobile, motor truck or any other type of
conveyance, from place to place, from house to house,
or from street to street, taking or attempting to
take orders for sale of goods, wares or merchandise
or personal property of any nature whatsoever, for
future delivery, or for services to be furnished or
performed in the future, whether or not such
