Whaley /s/ resident of the Council Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 6859 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6852 AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF AN ORDINANCE levying and assessing a special tax bill agains the lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of th alley south of Dunklin Street, between Delaware and Ohio Streets, a1 of said improvement is within the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing and resurfacing of District Number Two (2) of the City of Jefferson, Missouri. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance $gainst the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on. the roadway of the alley south of Dunklin Street, between Dela- ware and Ohio Streets, all of said improvement is within the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing and resurfacing of `District Number Two (2) , of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of said roadway of said alley aforesaid, by (repairing, resurfacing, in the sum of $540.00 asthe cost that is levied by statute for the improvement of said alley and the number, of front feet fronting and abutting said roadway of said alley aforesaid, amounts to 540.0 feet; the cost per running foot is $1-0(111 SECTION 2. For the purpose of paying for said improvement of said roadway of the alley south of Dunklin Street, between Delaware and Ohio Streets, all of said improvement is within the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing and resurfacing of District Number Two (2) , of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $1.00 as a special tax against each front foot of ground tronting or abutting the said roadway of the said alley aforesaid, and contained in such lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting said improved roadway of said alley aforesaid. SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the (description of the lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on each ( side of the alley south of Dunklin Street, between Delaware and Ohio Streets, all of said improvement is within the limits of sprinklin, oiling, repairing, surfacing and resurfacing District Number Two (2) , of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land owned and abutting said block or alley, the cost price per front foot for said improvement and the amount thereby levied and assessed as a special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting said roadway of said alley aforesaid is as follows: Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. , owner of Lots 1,2, 7, Block 6, Washington Park. Assessment of 223-1/2 feet @ $1.00 $223.32 Emerson D. Allen & Thelma G. Allen, owners of Lot 3, Block 6 Washington Park. Assessment 46-2/3 feet @ $1.00 $ 46.67 Clarence J. Heislen & Irma Heislen, owners of Lot 4, Block 6 Washington Park. Assessment 46-2/3 feet @ $1.00 $ 46.67 John William Bemboom, owner of Lot 5, Block 6, Washington Park. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out special tax bills in favor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for 1he within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work and according to the Statutes of the State of Missouri, as made and provided.
