SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for
the within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work and
according to the Statutes of the State of Missouri, as made and
provided.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6861
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6854 AND ENACTING IN LIEU THE ' OF
AN ORDINANCE levying and assessing a special tax bill against the
lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of Churcli
Street, from the south Right-of-Way line of U.S. Highway No. 50 to
the south line of the east and west alley through the center of
Block 1, St. Louis Heights Subdivision, all of said improvement
is within the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing an
resurfacing of District Number One (1) of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSO I.
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cos
price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance
against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting
on the roadway of Church Street, from the south Right-of-Way line o
U. S. Highway No. 50, to the south line of the east and west alley
ithrough the center of Block 1, St. Louis Heights Subdivision, all
lof said improvement is within the limits of sprinkling, oiling,
repairing, surfacing and resurfacing of District Number One (1) of the
,City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of said roadway of
said street aforesaid, by repairing, surfacing and resurfacing in
the sum of $260.00 as the cost that is levied by statutes for the
improvement of said roadway of said street and the number of front
feet fronting and abutting said roadway of said street aforesaid,
amounts to 260 feet; the cost per running foot is $1.00.
