limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairing, surfacing, and resurfacing 4
of District Number One (1) , of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $1.00 as a special
tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting the said
roadway of said street aforesaid, and contained in such lots or tra s of
land fronting or abutting said improved roadway of said alley
aforesaid.
SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the
description of the lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on
each side of Church Street, from the south right-of-way line of
U. S. Highway No. 50 to the south line of the east and west alley
through the center of Block 1, St. Louis Heights Subdivision, all of
said improvement is within the limits of sprinkling, oiling, repairl g,
surfacing and resurfacing District Number One (1) , of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners
and contained in the lots or tracts of land owned and abutting said
block or street, the cost pried per front foot for said improvement
and the amount thereby levied and assessed as a special tax for
said improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting said
roadway of said street aforesaid is as follows:
Inno Hilkemeyer & Heleh Hilkemeyer, owners of the north part of
Lot 20, Block 2, St. Louis Heights Subdivision
Assessment 75 feet @ $1.00 $75.00
Elizabeth Gilbert, owner of the south part of Lot 20, Block 2,
St. Louis Heights Subdivision
Assessment 55 feet .. @ $1.00 $55.00
Warren D. Scott & Grace E. Scott, owners of Lot 7, Block 1,
St. Louis Heights Subdivision
Assessment 130 feet @ $1.00 $130 .00
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the
within mentioned work in accordance with the Ordinances of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work and according
to the Statutes of the State of Missouri, as made and provided.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER, 1959.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of any money in the
City Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the following:
