AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL ZONE WITHIN THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described area within the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, shall be deemed a school zone:
A. Helias H#gh School. Swift's Highway from its
intersection with Myrtle Avenue to a point
Five Hundred ,(500) feet east of Myrtle Avenue.
SECTION .2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and , '.
after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6865
AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING RULES OF RIGHT OF WAY TO GOVERN THE
OPERATORS OF MOTOR VEHICLES AT CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET INTERSECTIONS
WITHIN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,, AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY
FOR NONCOMPLIANCE THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following rules of right of way shall- govern the
operators of motor vehicles at the following specifically described
public street intersections within the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
A. Intersection of Hillcrest and Fairmount Boulevard:
Ail operators of westbound motor vehicles on Hillcrest
shall yield the right of way to motor vehicles being
operated on Fairmount Boulevard which are so near the
intersection of Hillcrest and Fairmount Boulevard as to
constitute a danger of collision.
B. Intersection of Chestnut and Fairmount Boulevard;
All operators of northbound vehicles on Chestnut
Street (south of Fairmount Boulevard) shall yield the
right of way to motor vehicles being operated on Fairmount
Boulevard which are so near the intersection of Chestnut .
Street and Fairmount Boulevard as to constitute a danger
of collision.
