insertions, in the Post-Tribune, a daily newspaper, printed and
published in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and a majority of
the resident owners or property along said section of Gene Marlin
Drive liable for the costs of said improvement , and who own a
majority of the front feet on said Gene Marlin Drive intended to
be improved, have not filed with the City Clerk a protest against
said contemplated improvement.
SECTION 2. That the said road of Gene Marlin Drive in accordance
with the plans and specifications submitted by the City Engineer an
filed in the office of the ;ity Clerk, and that the total cost of t e
work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special assessment
against the real estate abutting and fronting on said contemplated
improvement, and special tax bills shall be issued therefor, as
provided in the City Charter, and in Sections 826, 827, 828, 829 an
767 of Chapter 10 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferso ,
Missouri, 1956, and of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missoux ,
1949, and amendments thereto.
SECTION 3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to advertise for
bids for this improvement.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6887
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ESTABLISHING EXPENSE
ACCOUNTS FOR THE CHIEF INSPECTOR, THE ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR, THE
PLUMBING INSPECTOR AND THE LICENSE INSPECTOR OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
MISSOURI, IN THE .AMOUNT OF FIFTY DOLLARS PER MONTH FOR THE USE OF
THEIR PRIVATELY OWNED AUTOMOBILES IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR OFFIC AL
DUTIES AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ISSUE AND TH
CITY TREASURER TO HONOR WARRANTS IN THE ABOVE MENTIONED AMOUNT FOR
EACH OF THE AFORESAID APPOINTED EMPLOYEES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUFIl
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The Chief Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Plumbing
Inspector and License Inspector shall each be entitled to receive t e
sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per month from the City of Jefferson
as an expense account to defray the cost in using their privately
owned automobiles in performance of their official municipal duties
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
issue and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized to honor warrants
in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) in payment to the persons
appointed as Chief Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Plumbing
Inspector and License Inspector of the City of Jefferson.
ISECTION 3. The expense accounts provided for by this ordinance shall
be payable on and as of February 1, 1960.
SECTION 4. All ordinances or parts or ordinances in conflict with
the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed insofar as the
do conflict.
