RDINANCE NO. 6888
An ordinance repealing Section 32 of Ordinance no. 6760 relating to
the penalty provision for violation of Ordinance 6760 pertaining to
dogs and other animals and enacting in lieu thereof a new section 32
defining penalties for violation of Ordinance No. 6760.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURE0
S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 32 of Ordinance 6760 relating to penalties for
iolations of Ordinance No. 6760 pertaining to dogs and other animaLs
e, and the same is hereby, repealed.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Jefferson, Miseouri,
hereby enacts a new ordinance to be known as Section 32 of Ordinance
No. 6760, which Section 32 is enacted as a penalty provision for
violations of the provisions of Ordinance 6760 relating to dogs and
ther animals, which new Section 32 shall read in words and figures
as follows:
"SECTION 32. Any person, firm or corporation violating
any of the terms of this ordinance excepting the provisions
of Section 17 and the provision of sub-paragraph F. of
Section 15 shall:,be, deemed-guiIty.:of;_�a misdemeanor and shall
be fined not more than $100.00 or imprisoned not more than
90 days or by both such fine and imprisonment. Anti person,
firm or corporation violating any of the terms of sub-
paragraph F of Section 15 shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not
less than $25.00 nor more than $100.00 or imprisoned nor
more than 90 days or by both such fine and imprisonment."
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
fter its passage and approval.

ORDINANCE NO. 6889
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING,
D MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AS
INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO. 5880 BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALL
DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM A DISTRICT A-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENT
CLAFFICATION TO A DISTRICT F HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, was
petitioned in writing for the rezoning of the land specifically
described hereinafter from its present A-1 single family residence
classification to a District F highway commercial classification,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, M ssour , re-
ferred said petition for rezoning to the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and
City WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Ci y of
Jefferson, Missouri, after notice and hearing to all interested I
parties and appropriate study and consideration did recommend to
the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that the land
specifically described hereinafter be rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, by
and through its City Clerk has caused a ndice of hearing for the
purpose of rezoning to be published three consecutive days in a
newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen
(15) days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council,
wherein such notice of rezoning all interested persons were requestild
to appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and expressin
their views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation
of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
conducted said hearing and heard the views of all persons expressin
an interest in the rezoning of the land hereinafter described,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOU1I.
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as
incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880 of the City, is hereby amended
changed and modified to reflect the rezoning of the following
described land from its present A-1 single family residence distric
classification to an F. highway commercial district classification:
A part of Spring Valley Subdivision recorded in Plat Book No. .
5 Page 35, Recorder of Deeds Office, Cole County, Missouri,
to wit:
A parcel of land lying in the south half of the southeast qua to
of Section 13, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, and more
particularly described as follows: From an iron Oipe that is
780.8 feet east of the southwest corner of the southeast
quarter of said Section 13, the beginning point of this
description: thence continiuing east along the south line
of said Section 13, a distance of 219 .8 feet; thence north
28 degrees 19 minutes East 937.4 feet to an iron pipe that
is approximately 110 feet easterly of a creek; thence north
75 degrees 54 minutes West 834.0 feet to the easterly right
of way line of U. S. Highway #54; thence south 40 degrees
21 minutes West and along said Highway 695.45 feet; thence
south 50 degrees 04 minutes East 776. 16 feet to the point
of beginning. Containing in all 17 .52 acres.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval. I
