N ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING,
ND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
S INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO. 5880 BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFI-1
CALLY DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM AN A-2 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRI
TO A C MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri was
petitioned in writing for the rezoning of the land specifically
described hereinafter from its present A-2 single family residence
district to a C multiple dwelling district, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri" referr d
said petition for rezoning to the Planning and Toning Commission of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commision of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, after appropriate study and consideration did recommend
to the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that the lani
specifically described hereinafter be rezoned as petitioned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, by
and through its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing for the
purpose of rezoning to be published three consecutive days in a
newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen
(15) days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council,
herein such notice of rezoning all interested persons were requeste to
appear before the City Council at the time and place specified there n
for the purpose of attending a public hearing and expressing their
views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
conducted said hearing and heard the views of. all persons expressing
an interest in the rezoning of the land hereinafter described,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUR , .
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The zoning map. of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as
incorporated into Ordinance No. 5880 of the City, is hereby amended,
anged and modified to reflect the rezoning of the following describ d
land from its present A-2 single family residence district to a C
multiple dwelling district:
All of Blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11,
12, 13, 143, 153, 16, 17 and 18 in Morris and
Edmonds Subdivision, in the City of Jefferson,
per plat of record in Plat Book 2, Page 19, Office
of Recorder of Deeds for Cole County, Missouri.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
