ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK '
F THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, TO EXECUTE A WARRANT IN THE
OUNT OF $40500.00 IN FAVOR OF WILLIAM C. ROSE AND VIRGINIA C. ROSE
D RALPH L. ROSE AND JEAN A. ROSE, AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
ELIVER SAID CHECK TO EITHER WILLIAM C. ROSE OR RALPH L. ROSE UPON
RECEIPT BY THE CITY CLERK OF A DEED PROPERLY EXECUTED BY THE ABOVE
NAMED PAYEES CONVEYING A STRIP OF LAND NOW OWNED BY THE PAYEES OF A
WIDTH OF TWENTY (20) FEET ADJACENT TO HOUGH PARK ROAD TO THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES AND UPON
DELIVERY TO THE CITY CLERK OF A DEED OF EASEMENT PROPERLY EXECUTED
BY THE PAYEES CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AN
EASEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES OVER LANDS OWNED BY THE PAYEES
ADJACENT TO HOUGH PARK ROAD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, are hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on
behalf of the City a warrant in favor of William C. Rose and
Virginia C. Rose and Ralph L. Rose and Jean A. Rose, as payees, in
the amount of Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500 .00) .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to deliver to either
William C. Rose or Ralph L. Rose the above described warrant upon
delivery to and receipt by the City Clerk of a Warranty Deed execut d
by the above named payees in favor of the City of Jefferson, Mi_ssou 1,
as grantee, whereby the above-named payees convey to the City a
strip of land for street and sidewalk right-of-way purposes of a
width of twenty (20) feet, lying adjacent to Hough Park Road on lancl
presently owned by said payees, and, further, upon delivery to and
receipt- by the City Clerk of a deed of easement executed by the
abovenamed payees whereby said payees convey to the City an easement
for construction purposes over certain lands now owned by them, lyi
adjacent to Hough Park Road and the strip of land above designated o
be conveyed to the City for street and sidewalk right-of-way purposes.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and aft.
its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ROADWAY .OF HOUGH
PARK STREET FROM CREENBERRY ROAD SOUTH 470 FEET IN THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY PAVING WITH ASPHALTIC CONCRETE AND CURBING
AND GUTTERING WITH CEMENT MATERIAL OR ASPHALTIC CONCRETE.
