ORDINANCE N0. 6904
AN ORDINANCE, of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, vacating and
discontinuing as a part of the public thoroughfare a part of Binder
Drive in West Hills Subdivision, and authorizing and directing the
Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to execute all necessary
instruments to the owners of the adjacent lots to and for said
portion of said street so vacated, as the parties entitled thereto,
as shown by the record title to said adjacent and abutting property
and declaring a reverter the respective owners of said real estate.
WHEREAS: It has been shown to the City Council of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, that the owners of that portion of Binder Driv
in West Hills Subdivision, hereafter described in Section 1 of this , .
Ordinance, have used, improved and occupied and are now using and
occupying said abutting land so that portion of Binder Drive has
ceased to be of any use or benefit as a public thoroughfare and
that it would not inconvenience the public or the citizens of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, to discontinue and vacate said portion
of said street as a public thoroughfare, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOU I.
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the City Council of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri deems it necessary and expedient to vacate
and discontinue that part of Binder Drive, more particularly
described as:
A Part of West Hills Subdivision of the City of Jefferson, Missouri
as the plat of said subdivision appears of record in Plat Book 5 at
Page 53, Cole County Recorder' s Office more particularly described �s:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Block 4 of said Wet-it Hill
Subdivision; thence South 4 degrees 59 minutes East, a distance of
619 .3 feet to the Southwest corner of Block 6 of said subdivision;
thence South 45 degrees 54 minutes West, a distance of 28.8 feet; e
North 3 degrees 02 minutes West on a line parallel to and 30 feet
