All the owners of the property and adjacent lots abutting on and adjacent to said Binder Drive having petitioned the said City Council to vacate and discontinue said portion of Binder Drive as a part of the public thoroughfare of said City, and said drive is forever vac ted and discontinued as a public thoroughfare and the right of reversiot of said drive to the adjacent and abutting owners as is provided by the Statutes of the State of Missouri, is hereby fully confirmed and approved, and the Mayor of this City is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver all proper and sufficient writing, or writings for, on behalf of, or in the name of the City to fully and completely establish and guarantee to the adjacent and abutting property owners their legal rights in connection with the above vac Lion. Whaley /s/ President of the Council Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 6905 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOLTII, TO ACCEPT A WARRANTY DEED FROM ELMER "BUD" HEMMEL AND MARTHA D. . HEMMEL BY WHICH CERTAIN REAL ESTATE AND THE IMPROVEMENTS LOCATED THEREON AT 213-215-217-219 MADISON STREET, WITHIN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI IS CONVEYED TO THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI FOR MUNICIPAL OFF-STREET PARKING LOT PURPOSES, SUBJECT TO THE INTERESTS OF PRESENT LESSEES OF SAID PROPERTY, AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, TO EXECUTE A WARRANT UPON THE CITY TREASURY OF THE CITY IN THE AMOUNT OF NINETY SIX THOUSAND ($96,000.00) DOLLARS PAYABLE TO ELMER "BUD" HEMMEL AND MARTHA D. HEMMEL UPON RECEIPT OF SAID DEED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, -MISSOt I, AS FOLLOWS: I' SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri is hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to accept a warranty deed executed by Elmer "Bud" Hemmel and Martha D. Hemmel, husband and'wife, by which certain real estate and the improvements thereon located at 213-215-217-219 Madison Street, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is conveyed to the City of Jefferson, Missouri for municipal off-street parking lot purposes, subject to the interests of present lessees of said property. SECTION 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson, Missouri are hereby authorized and directed to execute a warrant on funds within the city treasury of the City of Jefferson, Missouri in the amount of Ninety Six Thousand ($96,000.00) Dollars payable t Elmer "Bud" Hemmel and Martha D. Hemmel as consideration for said deed, and to deliver said warrant to Elmer "Bud" Hemmel and Martha D. Hemmel upon receipt of the aforementioned warranty deed. SECTION 3.
