N ORDINANCE; OF THE CI'T'Y OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND
ISCONTINUING AS A PART OF A PUBLIC 'T1101tOUGHFARE A PART OF BINDER
RIVE IN WEST HILLS SUBDIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY
INSTRUMENTS TO THE OWNERS OF TIIE ADJACENT LOTS TO AND FOR THE PORTION
F THE PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE SO VACATED, AS THE PARTIES ENTITLED THERE 0,
S SO SHOWN BY THE RECORD 'TITLE OF SAID ADJACENT AND ABUTTING PROPER
AND DECLARING A REVERTER TO THE RESPECTIVE OWNERS OF SAID REAL ESTAT .
AREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, by
Ordinance Number 6904, passed by the City Council on April 11, 1960
nd approved by the Mayor of said City on April 12, 1960, did vacate
portion of Binder Drive in West Hills Subdivision of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, And
EREAS, it has become known to the Mayor and the City Council of th
30ity of Jefferson, Missouri, that there was an error in the descript on
f that portion of Binder Drive which was vacated and discontinued a
public thoroughfare, and
WHEREAS, for the purpose of correcting the description of that
ortion of Binder Drive which was intended to be vacated originally
y Ordinance No. 6904, it is the sense of the City Council and the
yor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to enact and approve an
ordinance properly describing; the portion of Binder Drive to be
vacated, now therefore:
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUR ,
S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the City Council of the City
f Jefferson, Missouri. deems it necessary and expedient to vacate
and discontinue that part ' of Binder Drive, particularly described as
"A part of West 1111.1s Subdivision of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, as the plat of said subdivision
appears of record in Plat Book 5 at Page 53, Cole
County Recorder' s Office, more particularly described
as: Beginning at the northwest corner of said Block 4
of said West Hills Subdivision, thence South 4 degrees
59 minutes East, a distance of 619 .3 feet to the south-
west corner of said Block 6 of said Subdivision; thence
South 45 degrees 54 minutes West, a distance of 28.8
feet ; thence North 3 degrees 02 minutes West on a line I
parallel. to and 60 feet east of the west right of way
line of Binder Drive as same appears in the plat of
Jordan Hills Subdivision, as appears per plat of record
in Plat Book 5 at Page 57, Cole County Recorder' s Office,
a distance of 637.3 feet to the point of beginning."
ECTION 2. All of the owners of the property and adjacent lots abutting
n that portion of Binder Drive as above described having petitioned
he said City Council to vacate and discontinue the above described
ortion of Binder Drive, as a public thoroughfare, the above
escribed portion of Binder Drive is forever vacated and discontinue
s a public thoroughfare, and the right of reversion to the right of

)rovided by the laws of the State of Missouri, is hereby fully
onfirmed and approved.
ECT?ON 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson,
issouri, are hereby authorized to execute and deliver all proper
nd sufficient writings for, on behalf of, and in the name of the Ci to .
