(e) that the premises owned by the applicant- outside of the
rporate limits of the city, to which premises a private lateral
Isanitary sewer connection or connections is or are proposed to be
made, shall be used only for such purposes as may be authorized and
i exmitted by Ordinance No . 5880, as amended, of the City of Jefferscnj
(Missouri, for the land within the corporate limits of Jefferson Ci.t ,
IMissouri which is in closest promimity on a direct line to the land
lof the applicant located outside of the corporate limits of said
city, and
(f) an agreement by the applicant that failure to comply with t e
five preceding subparagraphs of this section, or, any violation of the
plumbing code or any of the general ordinances of the city pertains g
to sewers, shall be grounds for the City of Jefferson, Missouri to
order the disconnection of, or cause to be disconnected, any or all
private laterals to the extension of the city' s sanitary sewers or
any previously approved extensions thereof.
SECTION 5. The City Engineer shall transmit said applications for
private lateral connections to the Building Commissioner and the
Plumbing I spector who shall proceed to inspect the premises of the
pplicant outside of the corporate limits of the city. If the
Building Commissioner and Plumbing Inspector are satisfied that no
surface water will be inducted into the proposed private sanitary
sewer lateral, that each structure or building will have its own
separate and distinct connection to the sanitary sewer extension,
that the requirements of the city plumbing code have been complied it
that the applicant' s premises outside of the corporate limits are
being used for only such purposes as may be authorized and permitte
by Ordinance No. 5880, as amended, of the City of Jefferson, Mi.seou i,
for the land within the. corporate limits of said city which is in
closest proximity on a direct line to the premises of the applicant
outside of the city limits, and that in all other respects the
general ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, pertaining to
sewers, have been complied with, they shall endorse approval on said
application and issue the applicant a permit to make such individual
private lateral sanitary sewer connection or connections desired.

SECTION 6. For the inspections made as suggested in the preceding
section, the Building Commissioner and Plumbing Inspector shall
harge and collect such fees as may be authorized by all existing
ordinances for similar inspections within the city limits of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 7. The City of Jefferson, Missouri, through its authorized 4
officers and employees, may order any property owner outside of the
ty limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to disconnect his
private lateral sanitary sewer connection, or, may cause said
private lateral sanitary sewer connection to be disconnected upon
e occurrence of any condition which is in violation of the terms
and provisions mentioned in Section 4 of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
