K. --_ City Treasurer ORDINANCE NO. 6933 JAN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A ZONE FOR THE LOADING AND UNLOADING OF CHILDREN AT THE SOUTH CURB OF fAT.r? S'r'rt1sET BETWEEN TWO .POINTS LOCATED 168 FEET AND 208 FEET WEST OF THE WEST CURB OF HARRISON STREET BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 A. M. AND 9:00 A.M. AND THE OURS OF 4:00 P.M. AND 6:00 P.M. , PROHIBITING THE OPERATORS OF MOTOR VEHICLES FROM PERMITTING SAID MOTOR VEHICLES TO BE PARKED WITHIN SAID ZONE EXCEPT FOR THE PURPOSE OF PICKING UP OR DISCHARGIN CHILDREN AT THE CHILDREN' S NURSERY LOCATED AT 617 W. MAIN STREET, D PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, ISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. A children' s loading and unloading zone is hereby created and established at the south curb of Main Street between o points located 168 feet and 208 feet west of the west curb line of Harrison Street. SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to permit the same to be parked within the above described children' loading and unloading zone between the hours of 7;00 a.m. and 9 :00 a .m. and between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. except for the urpose of picking up or discharing children for the children's nursery located at 617 W. Main Street. SECTION 3. Anyone violating any of the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. SECTION 4.
