INTEREST OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI INTO LOTS L, M, N, 01 P, I
R AND S OF SCRUGG' S AND GUHLEMAN' S RESUBDIVISION OF LOTS 1 to 10
F VIRGINIA PLACE ADDITION, AS PER PLAT OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK 3 AT
AGE 490 COLE COUNTY RECORDER' S OFFICE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE SUM
F SIX HUNDRED ($600 .00) DOLLARS TO BE PAID BY TRUMAN WALKER AND
ZEL MAY WALKER TO THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, UPON DELIVERY 0
E DEED.
Whereas the Park Board of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
determined that the following specifically described land in the
ity of Jefferson, Missouri, is not susceptible of development as a
ity park or for public park purposes, and
Whereas, the Park Board of the City of Jefferson, Missouri has
equested that the City Council sell its right, title and interest i
nd to the following described land, and deposit the purchase money
eceived therefor to the account of the Park Board in the park fund
f the City, and
Whereas the City Council of the City of Jefferson, after study
and consideration of the request of the Park Board of said city, fin 4s
and believes that the land hereinafter described should be sold and
he proceeds of said sale placed in the Park fund of the city, now therefore:
IBE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUR ,
S FOLLOWS:
ECTION 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson,
issouri, are hereby authorized and directed, for and on behalf of
he City, to execute a quitclaim deed thereby remiseing, releasing
nd forever quitclaiming unto Truman Walker and Hazel May Wlaker,
usband and wife, all right, title and interest of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, in and to the following described land:
Lots L, M, N, 0, P, Q, R, and S of Scrugg' s
and Guhleman' s resubdivision of Lots 1 to 1p
of Virginia Place in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as of record in Plat Book 3 at Page
49, Cole County Recorder' s Office."
SECTION 2. The consideration to be paid upon execution and delivery
f said quit-claim deed by Truman Walker and Hazel May Walker to the
ity of Jefferson, Missouri, shall be Six Hundred ($600.00), Dollars .
