ORDINANCE NO. 6943
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OPERATOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE FROM
ERMITTING THE SAME TO BE PARKED ON THE EAST SHOULDER OF HIGHWAY 50
EST BETWEEN ITS INTERSECTION WITH WEST DUNKLIN STREET AND ITS
INTERSECTION WITH ELM STREET, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUF1,
S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicl
to permit the same to be parked on the east shoulder of Highway 50
est between its intersection with West Dunklin Street and its inte -
section with Elm Street.
SECTION 2. Anyone violating any of the terms of this ordinance shall
e deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from a d
after its passage and approval.

PASSING ANY OTHER MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE OPERATING THE SAME ON HIGHWAY
50 WEST BETWEEN THE INTERSECTION OF SAID HIGHWAY 50 WEAT WITH ELM
STREET AND THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 50 WEST AND WEST DUNKLIN STRI T,
D PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOUII,

sing operated in a northerly or southerly direction on Highway 50
West between the intersections of Highway 50 West with Elm Street a d
with West Dunklin Street to pass any other motor vehicle being
operated within the improved and travelled portion of said Highway
50 West.
