ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND
ISCONTINUING AS A PART OF A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE PRESENT PUBLIC STREET
IGHT OF WAY AT THE INTERSECTION OF NELSON DRIVE WITH MAGNOLIA STREET,
T THE INTERSECTION OF NELSON DRIVE AND PATTON STREET, AND AT THE
NTERSECTION OF NELSON DRIVE AND ATCHISON STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE
YOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY INSTRUMENTS TO THE;;
WNERS OF THE ADJACENT PROPERTY TO CONFIRM THE STATUTORY RIGHT OF
EVERSION IN SAID OWNERS TO THE VACATED AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOU I
AS FOLLOWS:
; SECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the City of Jefferson,
,iMissouri, deems it expedient and necessary to vacate and discontinu
11as a part of a public thoroughfare the following described portions
, of property that now are parts of public street right of way, the
three areas to be vacated being specifically described as follows:
(a) A portion of Nelson Drive and Magnolia Street
as same appears per plat of record of Hedgewood
Heights Subdivision, in Plat Book No. at
Page _, office of Recorder of Deeds of Cole County,
Missouri, more particularly described as:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot No. 39,
Block "N' of Hedgewood Heights Subdivision, thence
north 660 271 east along the northerly line of said
Lot No. 39 a distance of 66.9 feet to the point of
beginning of this description; thence continuing
north 660 271 east a distance of 91.7 feet; thence
south 190 201 west a distance of 91.7 feet to a
point on the northerly line of Magnolia Street
and the easterly line of said Lot no. 39; thence.
in a northerly and westerly direction along a curve
to the left, said curve having a radius of 40.0
feet, to the point of beginning.
(b) A portion. of' Nelson Drive and Patton Lane as same
appears per plat of record of Hedgewood Heights
Subdivision, in Plat Book No. ' at Page _9

Beginning at a point on the northerly line of Lot No.-

westerly along and with the southerly line of Nelson
Drive a distance of 44.6 feet to the beginning point
of this description: thence in a southwesterly
direction and on a curve to the left, having a radius
of 40.0 feet, to the northerly line of Atchison Street;
thence northwesterly along the northerly line of
Atchison Street a distance of 45.28 feet; thence in
a northeasterly direction and on a curve to the right,
having a radius of 15.0 feet, to the southerly line
of Nelson Drive; thence in a northeasterly direction
and along the southerly line of Nelson Drive a distance
of 45.28 feet to the point of beginning.
