ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 9 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 5933 (BEING
ECTION 43 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
ISSOURI, 1956) AND ORDINANCES NUMBERED 6115, 62579 64159 6433,
492 AND 6912 OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, PRESCRIBING THE L 41T
F TIME THAT MOTOR VEHICLES MAY BE LAWFULLY PARKED WITHIN ON-STREET
ARKING METER ZONES, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE
AME SUBJECT.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
ISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
ECTION 1. Section 9 of Ordinance Number 5933 (being Section 43 1
f the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1956)
nd ordinances numbered 6115, 6257, 6415, 6433, 6492 and 6912 of
he City of Jefferson, Missouri, prescribing the time limit for I
he parking of motor vehicles within on-street parking meter zones b��,
nd the same are hereby, repealed. `(I

ECTION 2. There is hereby enacted a new ordinance to be known as E�
ection 9 of Ordinance Number 5933 of the City of Jefferson (and !
lso to be known as Section 43 of the Revised Ordinances of the City
f Jefferson, 1956) that establishes and prescribes a limitation on
he time that a motor vehicle may be parked within various on-street
arking meter zones and establishes the fee to be paid by the person
perating and parking said motor vehicle for the privilege of
arking said motor vehicle in said parking meter zones.

"Section 43. Parking meters. Limitations of parking time.
?� Cast of parking. All of the on-street parking meter spaces
within the city located within the parking meter zones est-
ablished by ordinance shall be limited in the amount of
time said spaces may be used by any person parking a motor
!. vehicle therein to the period of time hereinafter
prescribed upon the deposit by the person parking said
motor vehicle of the sum of money within the parking
meter regulating the use of said parking meter space as
is hereinafter prescribed:
A. All parking meter spaces .located within Parking Meter
Aone "A" shall be used only for twelve (12) minute parking.
The parking meters opposite said spaces shall be twelve
(12) minute meters, and the person parking said motor
{ vehicle in said parking meter spaces shall deposit the
sum of one (.01�,) cent in the meter regulating the use of
said space upon parking the motor vehicle.
B. All parking meter spaces located within Parking Meter
Zones "E" and "HI" shall be used only for thirty (30)
minute parking. The parking meters opposite said spaces
shall be thirty (30) minute meters, and the person parking
said motor vehicle in said parking meter spaces shall
deposit the sum of five (.05C) cents in the meter
regulating the use of said space upon parking the motor
vehicle.
C. All parking meter spaces located within Parking Meter
Zones "C" , "F" and "I" shall be used for one (1) hour
parking. The parking meters opposite said spaces shall
be sixty (60) minute meters, and the person parking said
motor vehicle in said parking meter spaces shall deposit
the sum of five (.05,0) cents in the meter regulating
the use of said space upon parking the motor vehicle..
D. All parking meter spaces located within Parking .
Meter Zones "B" , "D" "G" and ".J" shall be used for
one (1) hour or two e2) hour parking. The parking
meters opposite said spaces shall be sixty (60)
minute and one hundred and twenty (120) minute meters,
and the person parking a motor vehicle in said parking
meter spaces shall deposit the sum of five (.05t,%)
cents to park said vehicle one hour and the sum of
ten (.104.-) cents to park said vehicle two hours in
the meter regulating the use of.. said space upon .
parking the motor vehicle.
E. All parking meter spaces located within Parking
Meter Zone "K" shall be used for two (2) hour parking.
The parking meters opposite said spaces shall be two
(2) hour meters, and the person parking a motor
vehicle in said parking meter spaces shall deposit
the sum of five (.05G) cents to park said vehicle
one hour in the meter regulating the use of said
space upon parking said motor vehicle."
ECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from
,and after its passage and approval.
