REAL ESTATE AS HERE117AFTER DESCRIBED, AND PROVIDING THAT THE SAME
SHALL BE CHANGED FROM A DISTRICT "A" AND "DIP, AND REZONED AND REDISTi,
RICTED SO THAT THE SAME SHALL BECOME A "DISTRICT "E". KNOWN AS A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS., a petition waa filed with the d1ork of the City of
Jefferson, M., ssouri , on the dW of .9
;948, praying for an amendment, reclassification and redistricting
of the boundaries of the zoning ordinances of the City of Jefferson,
and requesting a rezoning of the territ6ry in said petition described,
and praying that a rezoning be had of the sane to provide for the
best interests of the public, and,
WHEREAS, as is provided for by the zoning ordinances of the
City of Jefferson,, MIsso ri., a notice of the filing of said petition
was published in the Jeffers n City Post Tribune July 6., 1948 and the
Daily Capital News June 22,23,24,25,26,29,30, July 1,2,3,7,8,9,and 10,
1948, said notice st�ting that all parties are hereby notified that the
City Council of the ,ity of Jefferson would consider said change at its
first meeting after said publication had been made, and that public k
hearings would be held on July 12., 1948, and
THEREFORE., BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON.. MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereinafter the following described real estate be
used'. occupied, built on and buildings constructed thereon for public
purposes., and the same shall be classified as a District "E", commonly
known as a commercial district, as is Liow provided in the zoning
ordinances of the City of Jefferson, M. ssouri and said land so re-
zoned, reclassified and redistricted is more particularly described as
follows, to-wit:
A part of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter
and a part of the southwest uuarter of the northeast quarter of
Section 12, township 44., Range 12, described as beginning at the
southeast corner of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter
of said Section; said corner also being the southwest corner of Lot
66 in Jones Addition; thence north 86 degrees and 15 minutes west
(variation 8 degrees east) along and with said quarter section line
442.8 Beet to the southeast corner of a tract of land owned by Hugo
Busch, Sr. ; thence north 20 degrees and 45 minutes east, 442. 0 feet;
thence south 71 degrees east, 376.0 feet more or less to a point on
the west right-of-way line of a public alley; thence south along and
with the west right-of-way line of said alley 327.0 feet to the southeast
corner ofLot 66 in Jones Addition; thence west 46 feet to the point
of beginning, containing 3.70 acres, all in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri.
Section 2. All ordinancesnor parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. J'his ordinances shall become effective upon its
passage and approval.
