AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING AND REDIS T RICTING OF CERTAIN
REAL ESTATE AS HEREINAFTER DESCRI3ED9 AND PROVIDING THAT TH" SAME
SHALL BE CHANGED rm AN "A" DISTRICT, AND REZONED" AND R EDISTRICTED!:
SO THAT THE SAME SHALL BEC CME A "B" DISTRICT.
Whereas, aDpetition was filed with the clerk of the City of
Jefferson, M ssouri, on the 25th day of August, 1948, praying for
an amendment; reclassificatiom and redistricting of the boundaries
of the zoning ordinances of the City of Jefferson, and requesting a
rezoning of the territory in said petition described, and praying that
a rezoning be had of the same to provide for the best interest of the
public, and
Whereasm as is provided for the zoning ordinances of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, a notice of the filing of said petition was
published in the Jefferson City Post Tribune September 7, 1948 and the

City of Jefferson would consider said change at its first meeting after
said publication had been made, and that . public hearings would be held
on September 13, 1948, and
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS F OLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereinafter the following described real estate
may be used, occupied, built on and building constructed thereon for
public purposes , and the same shall be classified as a district "B",
a.2 is now provided in the zD ning ordinances of the ity of Jefferson,
Missouri and said land so rezoned, reclassified and redistricted is more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
Part of 'subdivision No. 10 of a `'ubdivision of
OLtlots NOs.-10,11,12 and 13, in the City of
Jefferson, M ssouri , rrore particularly described
as follows :
Beginning at the southwest corner of said
Subdivision No. 10; thence northerly along tha..
westerly lime thereof, 97 feet 8 inches, more
or less, to the southwesterly corner of a tract
of land conveyed to Roy B . Gee and Jean B. Gee,
his wife, by Warranty Deed or record in Book 114,
page 269; thence easterly along the southerly
line of said tract of land, 54 feet; thence south-
erly parallel with the westerly line of said
Subdivision No. 10, 97 feet 8 inches, more or
less, to the southerly line of said Subdivision;
thence westerly along said southerly line 54 feet
to the point of beginning.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinal ces in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
c Section 2. This ordinance sha;l become effective upon its
passage and approval.
