PROPOSITION NO. 2._ Shall the City of Jefferson., V ole county, Missouri, incur an indebtedness in the amount of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) for the purpose of pur- chasing additional apparatus useful in the extin- guishing of fires; and evidence such indebtedness by the issuance of bonds of said City in said amount for said purpose? PROPOSITICN NO. 4. Shall. the City of Jefferson, Cole k4 ounty, Missouri , incur anindebtedness in the amount of Twenty9five Thousand Dollars ($251,000) for the purpose of im- -provbng and repairing the public library building of said City, andevidence such indebtedness by the issuance of bonds of said City in said amount for said purpose? -PROPOSITION NO. 5. Shall the City of Jefferson, Co ;e " ounty, Missouri ., incur an indebtedness in the amount of Fifty Thou- sand Dollars ($50,000) for the purpose of improving public streets in said City by constructibng or repairing bridges thereog and evidence such indebtedness by the c� issuance of bonds of said City in said amount for said purpose? SECTION 2. That said election on the aforesaid propositions s shall be held in the several wards and in the precincts -and at the polling places established for the holding of the aforesaid General election and as set forth in the notice of bond election as proscribed in Section 5 hereof. SECTION 3. That the election on the aforesaid propositions , shall be conducted by the several judges appointed to serve at the said general election and by the clerks of said g6neriLln-election. SECTION 4. That the said polling places shall be opened on the day of said general election at the hour of 6 o 'clock A. M. and shall remain open until the hour of 7 o 'clock P.M. on said date. he said election shall be held and conducted andthe results thereof' shall be c�--rtified, canvassed and declared in all respects in co conformity with the constitution and Laws of theState of Missouri governing elections in the said City of Jefferson, and in accordance with the ordinances of said City. SECTION That the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and directed to give notice of the submission of the aforesaid propositions at the afoesaid general election, by publication "244.1. In the Dally Capital News, snewspaper printed and published in the City of Jefferson and of general circulation therein, The said notice shall be published in said newspaper once a week for four co secutive weeks and on the same day in each week. The first publication of said notice shall be made at least twenty-four days before the date of said election a8 the last publication, shall be made within two weeks of the date of said election.
