Section 3. The na,e of each property owner or owners and the
description pf each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on
each side of Douglas Drive from the intersection of Main Street knd
Douglas Drive to the intersection of Davis Street and ilauglas Drive,
and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and con-
tained in the lots or tracts of land so sowned and abutting said block
or street between the aforesaid streets and the cost price per front
foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed
as a special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of
ground fronting or abutting said "'ouglas Drive or the roadway from
the center of the intersection of ,"'ouglas Drive and Main Street to
the intersection of Davis StPeet and Douglas Drive .
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
make outi-,special tax bills in favor of the contractor Pope Con-
struction Company for the within mentioned work in accodance with the
ordinances of the City of Jefferson., M"'ssouri l relative to said
kind og work and in accordance with the Charter of said City in re-
gard to said work.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. here is hereby appropriated out of any money in
the City Treasury not btherwise appropriated, the following:
